This building is located in Loro Piceno in a spot with wonderful views over the sweet hills of southern Le Marche and the Sibillini Mountains, yet close to the Adriatic Sea and the province capital Macerata that offers plenty of cultural events all year around. The building dates back to mid 1800' , but the oldest part is the church of San Valentino, most probably dating back to 1140.
Between 2010-2012 a major structural restoration on the building was carried out; the foundation, the floors, inner walls, the roof and the facade leaving original details as fireplaces, wooden beams, arches, the main entrance and wood burning bread owen. During the restoration the most antique parts of the church were found and made visible.
The property consists of the main building disposed on two full floors about 140 sqm each and an attic of 140 sqn too. On the ground floor there is a porch of about 50 sqm. The internal is to be completed by the buyer and could be turned into either a private home or a country house. There are plenty of possibilities.
In addition there is the San Valentino church of about 70 sqm, attached on the left side of the main building and an outhouse of about 120 sqm on the right side, connected to the main building by the external bread owen.
The building sits on a plot of about 3000 sqm. and there is the possibility to acquire more land if needed.
The property is very easy accessible from a paved provincial road, and Loro Piceno is only minutes away. Macerata only 20 min away is the capital of the province and has an international University and a well known international outdoor Opera festival every summer, a large variety of restaurants and shops with famous Italian brands. The coast is about 30 min away, Ancona Airport about an hour, Bologna and Rome about three hours.
